In order to create a LearnTCI account, you will need to register. Your teacher will give you a 6-digit Class Code. You will enter the Class Code with your 24-digit Activation Code. The Activation Code is a unique number assigned to your Student Edition textbook. You can find the Activation Code on the page next to the Student Edition title page.
After you enter the Class Code and Activation Code, you will be asked for your first name, birthday, and state. You will then be asked to create a username and password. Please ask your teacher for specific directions on creating a username and password. Your password must be between 4 and 40 characters and may include letters, numbers, and hyphens. Your teacher will know both your username and password and may share this information with your parents.
Please let your teacher know that you have forgotten your username and/or password. Your teacher will be able to tell you what your username and/or password is.
Sign into LearnTCI. Click the My Account tab in the upper right corner. In the Reset My Password section, enter your new password, and click on the “Reset My Password” button.
In order to use LearnTCI you will need to have one of the operating systems and web browsers listed below.

You will need your child’s username and password. Either your child or your child’s teacher can supply you with this information.
Once you have signed in with your child’s username and password, you will be able to view assigned chapters and scores to the Reading Challenges.
At TCI, we follow the strict guidelines of Children’s Online Privacy Protection (COPPA) created to limit the information collected from minors. Therefore, the registration requires only the following fields:
We know how important it is to keep your child’s data secure. Therefore, we do not ask for or store any publicly identifiable information about your child. When your child creates an account for LearnTCI, we only ask for your child’s first name, birthday, and state. For account security, we use SSL certificates to encrypt usernames and password transmissions between your computer and our LearnTCI servers.
For a teacher to view LearnTCI, the teacher must sign into TeachTCI, select a chapter, and click on the LearnTCI tab.
